Well I suppose introductions are suppose to take place at some stage. I'm never any good at doing this kind of thing, so lets just get this part done and dusted ....
Hi there, I'm Yvonne and this is a little blog I've setup in the hopes of capturing my journey of trying to bake buns (aka trying to make babies). I live right in middle of Australia with my best friend (who just happens to be my husband) and our old border collie, Eva (who loves to keep us on our feet playing ball). After being married for almost 5 years we've agreed its time to grow our family from 3 to maybe 4 or 5 (maybe even 6). Only problem is, I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) 7 months before we were married. My symptoms range from obesity, amenorrhoea, excessive hair growth and high blood pressure. But we've never let these things determine our future as a growing family and are now on a journey of life that will change us forever. For the time being, I am being treated for my PCOS by a local women's clinic. I am taking Metformin and have just started round one of Clomid.
When I'm not in front of a keyboard, I can be found outside soaking in the glorious Aussie outback sun talking about everything and anything with my husband or just reading a good book. I love being creative and doing little DIY projects, cooking up a storm in the kitchen and going for long drives out bush.
