CLOMID: Day Nine

Just a quick run down ... so I've been diagnosed with PCOS way back in 2009, I am being treated for hypertension and I have a bit of weight to shift (26.2 out of 35kg to be precise) ... the story is when I first visited my GP in my quest in trying to 'bake buns', I was switched onto Metformin - a drug more known for treating insulin resistance in diabetics, but can also be used to treat PCOS. I do have slight insulin resistance (I'll explain more about this at a later date, if you're not familiar with it) which is a symptom of PCOS and believe the Metformin will be beneficial to my body.

So, after getting immunised, regularly taking a good dose of folate and do another stack of blood tests etc. my Gyn/Ob decided to start me on rounds of Clomid. I'm on day 9 of my first round and I honestly think I'm making my husband go crazy with me constantly turning our fan off and on all night long. I hate the feeling of warmth creeping up my body and opening the floodgates of my sweat glands. Eew, it's so gross!! Other than that, I am feeling much better than I did for the first 3-4 days of taking Clomid. In those first few days I felt like I had a huge grey cloud hover just above my eye brow and it didn't take much for me to want to cry. Weirdest thing crying about something you have no idea what you're crying about.
